Hello & welcome to my page all about one of my faves:
I got into Magic about a year ago, when I started working at a trading card game shop. Since then,
I've been HOOKED! My friends and I mostly play a version called "Commander" (also called EDH); you pick one legendary creature
to be your commander, and build a 100 card deck -- including it -- based on it's mana colors (in the top right) and without any duplicates (except for lands -- aka
mana). Commander is mostly about strategy -- so, working with your card's tactics and abilities -- but half the fun is making them fit a cool theme. My favorite mana combo
is "Dimir" (black/blue). There's a lot of lore and tons of cool characters (Liliana my beloved) but all you really need to do in order to play is a guide and some friends!
It's really fun. Here are some of the decks I've built!! (WIP)
(Note: I use a LOT of "proxies" -- aka printed copies. Cardboard is expensive!)

Oh my god, what a deck to start with. Atraxa Praetors' Voice is a univerally HATED card. Maybe
hate's a strong word. Dreaded is another one I would use. Mix her with infect/poison (which I did),
& you have a recipe for no-one-but-me-gets-to-have-fun. If you (yes, you) get TEN poison counters...
you LOSE THE GAME. She's a ticking time bomb. See what I said about kill-on-sight... Too bad she
has flying & vigilance & lifelink AND deathtouch. And did I mention she only costs 4 MANA???
Stand out cards include Vraska Betrayal's Sting, Agent Frank Horrigan, and Contagion Engine,
among others. These cards are brutal, man. Phyrexians are sooo creepy. Tamiyo's (another fave)
compleation ALONE is so eughhh... Creepy. I love Atraxa. She's on my playmat :-3
I would say either her or Atraxa Grand Unifier is the most popular commander. I mean,
she's the GOAT for a reason -- she was the big bad throughout the whole of the "March of the
Machines" era. My wife's favorite character, Karn, is the one who finally kills her. There's rly
sick art of him hoisting up her skull. Does that say something about our relationship? LOL
As of writing this, this is my most recent deck. I really like Toxrill the Corrosive.
He's so yucky. His main thing is "slime counters" -- which are basically just -1/-1 counters that
build up on EACH end step. So if you're playing against 3 other people, that's -4/-4 other creatures
can get before it comes back to you. I have a bad habit of picking kill-on-sight commanders LOL
Plus, when those creatures die, they die as 1/1's AND you get gross lil slugs from them,
which can then be used as blockers, or sacked to draw cards. I kind of combined this deck with
a wither deck I was building. There's a lot of cool interactions you can get with -1/-1 counters. Can
you tell I heart counters lol... I also really like proliferating, as will be extremely obvious with
the deck after this one. Dimir and Golgari are so gross. I love it.
Stand out cards include Massacre Girl Known Killer, Maha Its Feathers Night,
and Yawgmoth Thran Physician. I'm also a big fan of Fumulus the Infestation, Blowfly Infestation,
and Nest of Scarabs. What can I say, I genuinely like insects LOL. Also peep the Liliana planes-
walkers. As long it has black mana (which it normally does), I gotta add my girl!
I support women's wrongs :-) She DID do all those things but look at her.....
